About P2P Earthquake Information

P2P Earthquake Information (opens in a new tab) is an open platform that collects and distributes earthquake data in real-time. This data is sourced from multiple official and community-driven networks, ensuring that the information is both comprehensive and up-to-date.

Data Usage Policy

All data provided by P2P Earthquake Information can be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, with certain conditions:

  • Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) Earthquake Information and Tsunami Forecasts (up to April 4, 2021):

    • Data provided by the JMA before April 4, 2021, is available under the CC BY 4.0 (opens in a new tab) license. When using this data, proper attribution to the JMA is required.
    • Attribution Example: "This information is based on earthquake data provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency."
  • Map Images:
